Join Pack 80 and Reel in the Fun at Our Annual Captree Fishing Trip!
Are you looking for a unique and exciting way to connect with nature and meet new friends? Look no further than the Pack 80’s annual Captree Fishing trip!
Each year, our pack takes advantage of the beautiful fishing opportunities at Captree State Park in Long Island, NY. Captree State Park is home to “The Captree Fleet”, which comprises between 24 and 28 independently-owned charter boats that are available for fishing, scuba diving, sightseeing and excursion tours.
Join us in August, as we hit the water and see what the sea has to offer! Our pack is open to boys and girls of all ages and skill levels, from beginners to seasoned anglers. Don’t worry if you’re new to fishing – our pack will provide a welcoming and supportive environment for you to learn and have fun.

- Date: Event is held annually in August

- Food: Bring your own lunch and snacks (no food will be provided by the pack)
- Who can participate: This event is open to all Cub Scouts in grades K-5 who are part of Pack 80. We encourage parents and family members to join us as well!
